This image and the other images I’m about to post are from my studio final. I was aiming to do a state of mind/psychological self-portraiture series. All these images were pre-visualized and came from sketches that I did. I’ve always struggled with opposing forces/parallels within myself and it is best summed in this statement “the devil and god are raging inside me.” This is my attempt to capture that statement. It is something that I want to continue to explore/shoot for in the near future.

I’m absolutely in love with Elizaveta Pordoina’s work right now. 

This is from my last shoot for the assignment. Overall, I enjoyed each shoot and had so much fun doing them. Each shoot required completely different lighting patterns/positioning. I feel like I’ve got the studio environment/setup down. What I really want to start doing more is shooting outside of the studio on locations. 

This is from my second shoot, which I tried to replicate somewhat natural lighting and create an atmosphere/mood. 

From my first shoot (Fashion Assignment). I attempted to try shooting at night with the given equipment and I must say that night is definitely a challenge. However, it is something that I want to get better at and explore. 

This was for one of my assignments in which I had to test out various lighting equipment. However, I had to use only one light. For this one, I used just one medium soft box.
